I have just selected a benefit. When will the selection become effective?

After successfully completing a benefit selection, it is important to understand when the new benefit will become effective.

The effective date of a successful benefit selection might differ based on payroll processes. However, you can always check the effective date directly on your benefits account by following the steps below.

Generally, selections performed in a monthly selection window will be effective from the 1st of the following month. For example, a selection completed successfully in March, subject to your company's agreed payroll cycles, will be effective from April.

The effective date is available on the benefits platform during the selection process when accessing the enrolment window.

After the benefit window closes, benefit selection reports are processed and sent to the benefit providers, who might need a few days to activate your membership. To see the timelines for when your benefit should be activated, check the Benefit Information page on your benefits account.
