To make changes to your benefits, a benefit selection window must be open on your benefits account (such as a Monthly Benefits Selection Window or the Annual Benefits Window, for example). These benefit selection windows are also known as enrolment periods.
To check if such an enrolment period is open, click on the bell-shaped icon on the top right corner of the page, as shown below:
Next, the following information will be presented:
- The name of the enrolment window that is currently open;
- The time left until the window closes;
- A “View or select benefits” button to navigate to the window. It is important to access the window this way, especially if there are multiple enrolment windows open simultaneously on your account.
Alternatively, if you head over to the “Benefits”/”Benefit Overview” section, you will also see the window duration on the top of the page, as below, next to the effective date. Prior to this, if there are multiple enrolment windows open on your account, you will be requested to choose the suitable benefit selection window.
In case there is no benefit selection window open on your account at this time, when you click on the bell-shaped icon as mentioned above, you will be presented with a notification similar to the one below:
Things to consider:
- It is important to make sure all your selections are completed before the window closes. Once the window closes, no further changes can be made. For further details on making a benefit selection, refer to this article or contact us for further support.
- When reports are being processed, no selection can be made on the benefits platform. When this happens, you will see a notification under the bell icon informing you that the payroll is currently at cut-off, as per the below. If this is the case, allow for a couple of days until this cut-off period ends and reach out to us for further support if necessary.
